As the sun has made an appearance this week I have chosen some of my favourite picks for this summer. From SPF to sandals this post will have you covered.
1. Le Specs sunglasses.
This Australian brand is the perfect mix of trendy yet practical sunnies. With great shapes to suit all face structures such as Cat eye, square, oversized, aviator and many more. The mid price point is perfect for those who want to protect their eyes well. My personal favourites from their new in section are the 'Oh damn!' and 'Adolfo'.
2. Seol & Gold jewellery.
Weather you wear gold, silver or both Seol & Gold will have a piece for you! I now have a couple of their bits and they are both amazing quality and have a great price point. All either Sterling silver, 9CT gold or 18KT gold plate, they shouldn't turn your ears or fingers green after a weeks wear! I personally love their enamel range, which are so fun for summer 2021.
3. H&M Blue strips set.
If you love to have pieces you can throw on and go, and still look great, then this set is for you. The blue stripe is a great width as to not look too pyjama esq, but still relaxed and oversized to not be stiff. Pair it open with a white tank underneath for any day this summer.
4. Supergood SPF.
Sun protection is a must in the summer, and supergoop by Gwenth Powtrow is a cult classic. With many sunscreen itierations including powder, gel, spray and roll on you're sure to find a version for you.
Give the brand a try with the 'SPF from head-to-toe' set, or for added glow use their 'Glow Screen' with SPF30.
5. Birkenstock large buckle sandals.
Birkenstock's are a summer staple for any age. This pair of classic double trap are teamed with an amazing oversized buckle to add a luxe feel. The leather gets comfier with every wear too!
6. Summer scents.
I love changing my perfume for winter and summer. This year my summer fragrance is Sundazed by BYREDO. I love the citrus top notes which then melt into a sweeter, candyfloss which stays on all day. I can't get enough! I also love YSL Mon Paris, which is a little bit more floral.
7. Beachy waves.
Every summer achieving the perfect beauty waves is a challenge I had yet to complete, until Ouai and 'Air dry foam' came along. Just spray/scrunch around 5-7 pumps into your hair and voila, your hair dries in perfect beauty waves. There is no crunch, or wet look with these products, just amazing scents which last until you next wash. The smaller sizes are perfect for travel too, fingers crossed the beach waves can be achieved at an actual beach this summer!
8. Djerf Avenue pieces.
I'll take one of everything please. Djerf Avenue is the clothing brand by influencer Matilda Djerf; it is a Swedish, non-seasonal, ready-to-wear brand. Every piece is perfectly designed and shown on their instagram, so sizing is made easy. Also, sustainability and ethics are at the heart of their brand, with no retouching and all garments made in Portugal. My personal favourites are the Gateway dress and Staple sweatshirt.
9. Ballerina flats.
I NEVER thought I would love a ballerina flat, after wearing them through primary school and retail work I didn't think I could see them as anything other than a practical shoe. However Zara has just released these

This swimwear brand is certainly a treat. Known for their amazing bikini sets and towelling co-ords, elevate your summer style with this gorgeous matching bikini and shirt co-ord set!
